iScale is continually seeking to expand its team. We are looking for people with technical analytic competencies related to our innovation streams, particularly those with expertise in more than one area. A steward must have exceptional written and verbal communications skills. We seek lopsided generalists who can bring their expertise to an opportunity to work with an adaptive team engaging with pioneering leaders in the issue and innovation fields we address.

The review of ILC’s Strategic Framework 2007-2011 by Innovations for Scaling Impact (iScale) has generated results far beyond our expectations. We started by anticipating an ordinary evaluation in which projected results and actual achievements would be compared and analysed. We ended up engaging in a radical collective reflection on who we are, what brings us together, what is our comparative advantage, and how to position ILC in the future. A constructive tension between continuity and innovation has emerged from the internal consultations… For these reasons I think the process facilitated by iScale is as important as its end product, the review report.

Despite international commitments to achieve universal access to HIV/AIDS services by 2010, including 80% coverage for prevention of parent-to-child transmission services, progress toward these goals remains too slow, and pediatric HIV transmission remains unacceptably high, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa.
